Artificial Intelligence & Computer Science Intern

  • Drive an AI-first workflow with agentic CLIs (Claude Code, Codex) as daily drivers to architect, ship, and self-review production features.
  • Architected a full-stack Next.js onboarding tracker on a Postgres/Drizzle ORM backend, using SSO and auth middleware to protect sensitive new-hire data, cutting HR's manual tracking time and auto-updating the org chart.
  • Proactively built a cross-platform Docker devcontainer (WSL2/Colima) isolating AI agents to safeguard proprietary data.

Research Assistant I

  • Designed two full cybersecurity courses for BGSU and the Ohio Cyber Range Institute: secure key management (Vault, AWS KMS, Azure Key Vault, PKI, Shamir's Secret Sharing) and an eight-lab ethical hacking track from OSINT to exploit development.
  • Authored dozens of hands-on labs and decks on real attacker tooling (Kali, Metasploit, Nmap, Wireshark, Burp Suite, John the Ripper) running against deliberately vulnerable targets like Metasploitable2, DVWA, and Vulnserver.
  • Used AI agents to scale the research, analyzing 330+ course files, extracting text from .docx/.pptx decks, and reorganizing the ethical hacking labs to follow a real engagement workflow.
  • Built AI-guided labs (a beginner Wireshark email-forensics case) and gamified activities like the Cyber Detective escape rooms and a password board game for camp and classroom use.
  • Aligned the program to the NICE Workforce Framework (NIST SP 800-181r1) and CAE-CD accreditation, backed by skill-gap research on Ohio's cybersecurity workforce.

Data Engineering Intern

  • Automated a 100% manual SQL billing script by developing a PySpark job and weekly AWS Glue Workflow, processing 20+ TB of Impala data to calculate charges for 700+ member companies.
  • Architected the 160+ table migration by profiling Oracle/Impala (via JDBC) with Python (Pandas) and SQL to map data similarities and define a single data taxonomy of 25 MDM domains.
  • Replaced 160+ Pentaho jobs with an automated AWS Glue Workflow, using the new MDM domains and an AWS Glue pipeline to ETL data into S3 (partitioned) for Semarchy MDM.
  • Orchestrated the daily AWS Glue Workflows to enable a new self-service application, which eliminated manual entry and ensured a 24-hour data latency for all new MDM domains.
  • Built a reverse-ETL pipeline in AWS Glue for the MDM data, enabling accurate data integrity checks.

Software Engineering Intern

  • Engineered the foundational data model for openIDL (unified view for insurance data), using Python to parse taxonomies and implement 1,000s of SQL tables on Oracle/PostgreSQL across 10+ insurance lines.
  • Developed a high-performance Python script using multiprocessing and Pandas to clean and parallel-process massive CSVs, implementing fuzzy de-duplication and data hashing for 100% data compliance.
  • Contributed to a full-stack React modernization by implementing Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) and JWT authentication with Node.js to deliver a secure, role-specific landing page for 100+ internal users.
  • Automated a 2-person validation process by building a scheduled AWS Lambda function that polled database tables, tokenized PII using hashlib/boto3, and ingested clean JSON into S3.

Software Engineering Intern

  • Ensured HIPAA compliance by implementing site-wide anti-CSRF tokens for user authentication and protection of patient data.
  • Built a JS/Bootstrap module to log blood sample data, ensuring data completeness for the matching algorithm.
  • Redesigned the responsive “Match Run” results page with Bootstrap to improve readability of donor chains.
  • Reduced page render times by refactoring legacy JavaScript for asynchronous ('async'/'defer') loading.

About

Who you'd be working with.

I completed my B.S. in Computer Science at BGSU and I'm now pursuing my M.S. there.

I've built web apps, mobile apps, agentic research systems, and AI products powered by RAG backends. If it ships, scales, or automates something painful, I'm probably interested.

Outside the terminal, I enjoy horror movies and I'm building an interest in game development.

BGSU Developer Club

Science & Technology

Founder & President

  • I started this club because I kept meeting students sitting on a great idea with no one to think it through with, so I built the room I desperately wished I'd had when I was a beginner staring at a blank editor.
  • We sit down together and turn a vague idea into something real: scoping it, picking a stack, and getting that first version shipped instead of letting it quietly die in a notes app.
  • Nothing beats the moment in a one-on-one when someone lands their first commit or their first deploy and you watch it click. That flicker of "wait, I can actually build this" is the whole reason I do it.

International Student Ambassador

  • I moved halfway across the world to study here, so I remember exactly how overwhelming and quietly lonely those first few months can be. This is my way of making them a little gentler for the students arriving after me.
  • I help international students find their footing across the personal, social, and academic sides of a brand-new life, and more than anything I try to be the familiar face they can come to on the hard days, so no one feels like they're figuring it all out alone. :)

Academic Affairs, Graduate Student Senate

  • I serve as the voice and liaison for graduate students, speaking up for the concerns they don't always feel comfortable raising on their own so they actually reach the university.
  • What drives me here is simple: every student deserves to feel heard. So I carry their academic concerns into Senate discussions and stay with them until they're genuinely addressed, not just acknowledged.

International Student Ambassador

  • This was the very first place I ever gave my time, and it's the one that's stayed closest to my heart: sitting with new international students through that disorienting first stretch and watching Bowling Green slowly turn into home for them, the same way it quietly became mine. :)
